Alison Krauss

Alison Krauss has been a country music star for more than 30 years. She was born in Decatur, Illinois on the 23rd July 1971. Both LeAnnekymes and Krauss were among the youngest Grammy Award winners. Alison Maria Krauss is an American singer, songwriter and bluegrass musician. Her birth date was July 23, 1971. She was a teenager when she made her debut in the music world winning local competitions at the age of 10 old and recording her first album at the age of 14 years. After signing with Rounder Records, her first album came out in 1987. She was also invited to the band Alison Krauss Union Station where she continues to perform. Then, in 1989, her first solo album was released together with them.
